    was thinking about making a trip tomorrow...just wondering if anyone had a report on the current clarity of the water?

    Oddly enough, the beach isn't too bad, just rough as heck! The bay's pretty nice.

      I second that.

      I went yesterday and the bay looked beautiful in the morning minus the small showers we got where the wind would pick up until they passed.

      The surf is kinda choppy though. Gonna wade the bay in the morning!
      I set my hook like I am fishing for tuna even if I am fishing for trout. Call me tuna Joe!

        Most of the bay is off colored. The pass looked pretty good with lots of bait. The south shoreline looked the best. Middle of the bay to the north shoreline looks like sheet.

          Don't worry about the water color... I've caught trout in YooHoo. Just use a louder lure and if it's a bright day use a bright bait and dark day use dark bait. There there and feed in that off color water everyday eating almost silent creatures. Fish the signs and find them, they're there.

            I agree. I fished off colored water this weekend and the only thing that mattered was if there was bait or not.
