I waded a shell reef yesterday morning. The topwater bite was very good on blk/crom Shepup, but over by 7:30.
It was rougher than I anticipated this morning as black clouds moved across from the gulf. The fish were there but hard to fish in the chop. I moved to a S. shore cove and found reds and trout on Jimmy Houston SS jr.
