my pops took me to 8 mile rd .. just fartin around as a storm came in a few weeks ago. he told me u can wade in and there is a lagoon or somethin a lil further down towards galveston and then a rock jetty just like off the seawall... n e luck there.. n e one fished there?? figured id ask b4 gettin myself in too deep to handle.. lol thanks

I'd recommend the south jetty right now... probably the best option. but you'll need a calm day.. like today to fish it without getting blasted in the face.. look for a NE or east wind or calm. walk out on the jetty about 200 yards. best on incoming tide. Some of the T heads are ok, but the jetty will give you more options. -
