I think the best restaurants are the brazillian steakhouses. Nothing beats Nelore or Fogo until after you eat yourself sick.
Seafood restaurants are starting to get like Mexican food places. Just so many and they are all pretty good.

I'm liking this forum. I moved to Houston a couple months ago and there's so many new places to try. So far, I havn't been anywhere amazing. But Goode Co BBQ is good. So is Taco Milagro off Kirby.

Yeah, I haven't been over there since my office moved but it has always been top notch. I was eating there 15 years ago or more...LOL Great food and I have had the shrimp piquante and it is kickarse as well!Originally posted by corndog View PostYes thats the place. The Catfish Piqaunte is best in Houston. Its not on the menu but ask for the shrimp picaunte even better.Toasted raviolis awesome soft shell crab awesome. Be sure to try the tomato caprese one of the best in town. You just cant beat this place for good food and quality atmosphere.Make sure you eat at the bar seperate from the restuarant. I have my Christmas dinner there every year. I Know Barbie and have heard the story. She has re married they have the same cook there. So if you want to have a nice meal and really chill with the wiffey go there around 1 pm and eat at the bar then hang out while every one leave and then enjoy a first class place with your better half. BTW maybe the best Calimari anywhere!!
This is one of my top two places to eat!!

Just across the street from the original Lupe Tortilla's? That place is off the hook! The Catfish Piquante is the best I have ever had, bar none. One of my bud's friends used to own it until he got caught cheating... now his ex-wife owns it. I used to work a half mile from there and ate there at least every other week.
