Update on the Star tagged Redfish.
Turns out that 7 of the 10 did not qualify.

I wonder what disqualifies them? You think it is because they landed them with a net and the rules say reel and line only?

I think it is because they are using more than one rod and reel while they are fishing. According to the rules you can only use 1 rod and reel to fish with. In other words you cannot have 5 poles out fishing with cut bait for example. This is just my guess and as such means nothing

6. All fish entered into competition for prizes must have been hooked and caught by the contestant on rod, hook, and line. Casting the bait and netting the fish by another person is permitted."


Didnt find anything about multiple poles. Could be tho.
