What's your favorite reel for wading the surf?

What is your favorite reel for wading in the surf for trout/reds?

Actually I have a couple: Shimano Scorpion 1000 and old school Shimano Calcutta 100.

Curado 200 (the old green one).

JT has heck with his Zebco "Snoopy" Rig, but says it casts fine if he oils the push button after each surf trip.

I usually use my old Curado but I've been throwing a Cabela's Salt Stalker spinner in the wind.

Garcia 4600 C3.Easy to clean and fairly cheap to replace

A Curado 100D, one of the best reel values Shimano ever produced. I guess that's why it was discontinued after one year!

I'm seriously thinking about getting some of those H2O's for fishing the surf so that my good reels don't get jacked up from the suds. I've heard the reels are good and of I trash one, I won't shed a tear.

I've heard the same same thing about them I almost got one but decide to stick with my shimano . If u try them post a review.
