Hey everyone. Just wanted to remind everyone that now it's getting to be a constant 90+ degrees outside to watch out for dehydration. Just yesterday while working, I blacked out due to the effects of heat and dehydration. The whole day while attending my sister's graduation and preparing the grill and pool for her grad party, I had yet to drink any sufficient amount of fluids. As an athlete as well, I should know the physical effects of dehydration but I guess with everything that was going on, it never occurred to me. Stay hydrated out there guys. The worst thing to happen is you to black out from lack of water while on the water, let alone feeling miserable and canceling a trip.
Some basic tips:
Effects of dehydration are lightheadedness, blurred or impaired vision, and shortness of breath. Also, muscle spasms may occur due to a lack of water.
If you are feeling dehydrated, it is already too late. Keep constantly hydrated and don't get to that point.
Your urine color is a basic bodily function on how your body is hydrated. A clear fluid means your body is hydrated while a yellowish tinge is a hormone that means that your body needs water.
Stay safe guys!
