    3/14/08 Speck tourney

    Well, It wasn't a great tourney for team Saltwater Assault ...... It was brutal for us! The weather was crap and we just couldn't locate any bait. We did however locate some nice new Ike structure out in Trinity bay that made a nice mess of my new prop, the skeg, and the prop shaft. Had to exit the tourney early LOL

      I know I know!!!!!!! I can't beleive I went to Trinity when I was on such good fish in West. I really didn't think the fish I was on would win. We went looking for some bigger fish LOL. From what I heard the winning stringer came from the Clear Lake Channel. I heard there was 2 8lbers caught there yesterday. 2 fish that weighed 14lbs won it. Not confirmed yet.

          Sorry to hear that man.

          I'm suprised you went up in that area too.

          That is something else if someone actually pulled out 2 fish that weighed 14 pounds in those weather conditions yesterday. Goodnight....

                  That sucks Capt Greg.......You know better than to leave fish to find fish! I know there are some good fish in the channel in Seabrook. They catch some big ones in there in the winter!
