I caught 3 bionic sandies that were over 15 and the in laws love them......gotta do something to get on their good side.

It was definitely off the chain this morning. Water was sandy but it did not matter. Plenty of mullet in the water and big trout were hammering the big spook. In the water about 5:45 and caught and released my first 10 before 7 this morning.

Just back from Quintana/Bryan beach. (fished from 1pm until 3)
SKUNKED using live shrimp.
Surf is rough(rough enough to beat the cr@p out of me anyways).
Wind from SE about 8.
Water is brown in a lot of places because of the pulverized sargasso weed.
Down by M.o.B.its clean and green but nothing working while I was there.
TONS of mullet of all sizes in the surf. Might try those or arties that mimic.
Guess the bite is in the a.m.
