I love krolls... if we had a major issue come up we'd take it there. They got me in & out and warrantied a low pressure fuel pump in 3 days they had me fixed ready to go before the Memorial Day weekend...

That's a bummer and my dealing with them years ago did not go well. I've been using Randy's Marine in Dickinson and he's a no BS guy. I see Evans Marine has been getting some great reviews on several of the boards too. Hope you get her fixed and cutting your loss is good advice.

When we get it back on the trailer I'll give you a call. Not worth me wasting a whole day for a minor adjustment pulling that thing out of the water & hauling it around is a PITAOriginally posted by evansmarine View PostCoe bring it by, I will fix that while you wait for no charge.

I know it's a little out of your way but please take to Acie's Outboards in Dickinson and report back on that experience.

I would go somewhere else. They know you are pissed and won't care and do another shotty job "fixing" it.

Just got off the phone with their service guy because guess what. Yep I had to call him about the plastic cover AGAIN "I thought you were swinging by" I'm over them... That wasn't even the reason for my call.
I went off shore Monday and wouldn't you know we top the boat off with a FULL tank of fuel (gas sitting in fill tube) & the fuel gauge is reading 3/4 of tank (3 bars below full). There is nothing more that I hate then taking something in & having it replaced but not fixed properly. Now I have to take a day off from work, pull the boat out of the water again. Drive it back up to Texas Marine for them to "adjust" the unit. I mean why couldn't you do that when it was there!? Just pisses me off!
I don't know whether to take it back to them or just take it somewhere else to fix all their screw ups!

Well said.Originally posted by Explorer21 View PostCoe, this is a great example of a company that just is not customer service focused. With the social networking going on these days, this guy just lost SEVERAL customers because of this post, which is what needs to happen. Funny how things get worst as the economy get's better, everyone is too busy and they rush things and screw them up! Thanks for the heads up, won't be going that direction.
