My Mom and Dad were traveling through Joplin during the storms. Dad said that one of his windshield wipers was torn completely off.

I finally got to debrief my Father from his trip through the storm. He said it was the most evil thing that he has seen in his 80 years. Prayers for all those affected.

My daughter sent an email about a friend of hers that lives in Joplin behind the Walmart in an apartment complex. Anyway, he heard it coming and got in the bathtub and rode it out there. Luckily his new wife( he's 21 and she's 19 and just married) was at her parents in Tyler. Place was completely destroyed and of course no insurance, and they lost everything.
Believe I'll send them a little help as that is no way to start a new life together! Very wierd weather we're having this year...and now I just read a weather blog where a possible storm in the GOM by end of next week...or the week after, I don't read comprehend very well!
                          Don't be a Nancy!
If it smells like fish....you know I've been there!

Monte, perhaps some of us here would like to donate as well. If that's ok, let us know and we'll shoot you a check to pass on. - Sandy
