Have fun with those seas if y'all go, we were going to go tuna fishing this weekend but this forecast changed my mind.


Whenever I start thinking about going out when its rough I just watch this video from our tuna trip back in December...this video was taken on the hilltops (86 miles from the closest beach). There was a cold front that rolled in early on us. So we had to take a head-sea all the way in from Boomvang/Nansen...

Trust me, we've been there before. Left out two years ago in a 32' Cat in 2-4s, got to 3-5s the next day, next day after we awoke to a broken anchor, all rods going off, drifting with 6-8s coming in the back of the boat. 50 mile run in 6-8's which then turned to 8-10 s with an occasional Only God Knows How Big of waves.. Covered in nothing but a wall of water. I'm just glad we didn't have a shark that needed to be loaded before we left...
