Opinion on Consumption Advisory

2 of the trout I caught last weekend did have boney like patches/ulcers on their sides-those went to my neighbors-didn't see anything wrong with the meat/fillet and they are still alive (neighbor that is).

Until they come up with some hard data, i'll keep eating the fish.

I read/skimmed through most of it, and it was some interesting data. Still looks like i'll be eating fish from where i roam though...i'm still way to the west of all those areas. Hell even if i fished in those spots they mentioned i'd still be fine. If you read at the conclussion part, it says that none of those fish pose any threats to human health. They also recommend that you eat your fish in moderation. I'll just keep doing what i've been doing.

When they mentioned snake island in their report, i thought they were talking about the one over by sea isle. After looking at their map i was wrong...they're calling some island over there...what looks to be the galveston causeway bridge area...to the far east "snake island".

I have to agree with the no consumption for pregnant women and kids but they are probably eating the crap we import from china anyway... I will continue to eat trout regardless of what tpwd says
