(son portion of fathernson)I kno, I kno. sounds crazy to intentionaly go after stingrays but I hav only caught a few and the only one of any legitimate size I caught was one of the best fights iv ever had from the bay. Iv tried targeting them a few times when fishing for more desirable species was slow but with little success. I'm wondering wer can I find them and wat will they take all of the ones iv caught wer on small dead piggy perch

Catch you some croakers and soak them on the bottom and hold on!!! Not the small ones GSB uses for trout, but the ones the size of your hand. I fought a huge one years ago and lost after an hours battle on 30# test. The Deep Hole in Moses is good place to start and you may get lucky. Or, you can go to Jumbile Cove...blah.....foul hooked and pizzed off!

Thanks for all the advice! I appreciate it.the one legitimate size stingray I got was actualy at the deep hole by the flood gates at Moses lake bout a 40 pound Ray...I wanna catch one of those REAL giants tho! Iv heard ther good scallop style to. Well if ya c a father n son out in the bay with a big Penn reel and a rod thick as a broom stick bent in half with a big ol' Ray on hopefully that's us!Team Rolling Thunder

I got up in the grass to get my sand eel back on this one. It was not a happy camper! I released it a hung another one that broke me off and I couldn't turn it. They were close to where you are taking about. Maybe you could start a movement to wipe 'em out. What other enemy do they have to keep numbers in check?Originally posted by corndog View Postget em all!!!that biotch in roster collins will make your heart stop and shuffle a mile!!
