pretty much got moved into my new house, right across from my dock the people have an underwater green light, there has been HOARDS OF BAIT every night and last night i pulled two trout from around the lights edge on saltwater asassins , just wanted people to know if you have access to a spot with the lights in the canals, there in there for the taking, also yesterday in the middle of the day there where a few trout chasing bait on top, it was really cool to see, but i couldnt fish them, have to try to balance out the fishing / slash girlfriend time until i can get her into it lol, good luck this week guys !!!!!

You can buy yourself a light - check the Islander magazine-a retired electrician near Kelley's in la Marque will sell you one-a lot cheaper than the other folks that sell them.

I just moved into my place in Bayou Vista a month ago and it is nice to be able to fish out of the back door. My neighbor two houses down lets me use him dock and light until I can get me a light. The fish seem to feed all night over where I am but the wind has been a pain in the *** to deal with.

You better get go get that refrige, washer, dryer hooked up before you start busting those Trout...... Throw the smallest rattle trap they make in blue/chrome at that under water light and bust thier *****. That was a deadly bait for me in Bayou vista. Also, the small Jimmy Houston Super Spook Jr works good during the day.

i'm on bonita do the same thing on my little john boat but until i get everything situated i pulled it out of the water to tempting with to much to do
