Fishin alone?

Do most of you guys fish alone or with buds? I guess it depends if your in a boat or not. Mostly wade fishing, i fish alone 99.9% of the time.

I'm a shift worker with odd times off at very short notice.
Difficult to get together with others.

I also work an odd schedule and try to avoid coming down to fish on weekends. Ergo Im alone most of the time.

I wade as well, but I prefer to fish with someone. Most of the time though I don't plan far enough to check in with anybody, so I mainly wade alone.

I try not to fish alone, but every once in a while you can't find someone on short notice.

When I wade I like fishing with someone. That way i can bore them to death with my non-sensical stories and hopefully outfish them!

I fish alone 90% of the time and with buds on the weekends sometime. I actually prefer fishing alone so I can concentrate or focus on what's happening, with friends it's too easy to get distracted and just yuk yuk it up! Sometimes it works out that both things happen at the same time.

I fish alone. I don't want any witnesses to talk about how I backup a trailer, slip so fast I can see the bottom of my feet before I fall, turtle my kayak in 3" of water, not park close enough to the high water mark at SLP, scream like a little girl if I think I see a snake, catch my cooler on the backswing and cast it further than my lure, look for an hour for my readers find them on my head. It is more about dignity I think.

Alone most of the time...I'm basically self employed so I go when I get a window (preferably during the week) and most of the guys I like to fish with can't get off Monday through Friday very often. I also take customers fishing sometimes and being the deck hand for a day usually makes me realize how much I enjoy fishing alone!!!
