      Show me a picture of these hoards of ling!! Funny how that pic aint surfaced yet. Wait they where in SLP with the wild hogs and boudreaux stuck the ling with a knife(couteau) and made sauce piquante! Cook some rice Tibodeaux!!!

        LOL! The part of that story I like is that his partner was drunk in the bed of the truck. Nothing like killin' pigs with a gig while your partner is sleeping off your booze!

          i was at the north jetty thursday. beautiful water. didn't see any ling, just a few schools of cow nosed rays. still lots of sheepies there, but didn't get any trout.

              Shhweeww.. I've done my fair share of free gaffing.. when them sob's won't take a bait, but they'll come right to the boat... BAM!

                Guy I fish with caught a ling in greens last year, about this time of year if I remember right. Baby one.

                  I can't tell you guys what was going on at SLP but we did put a 44" cobia in the boat (freezer) on Mar 31st. We were just 5 miles out of the Colorado river channel in Matagorda. I don't have the pics right now, but I will post them tomorrow. They are out there in multiples but I didn't see any "hordes".
