Taking a new member out tomorrow

Well guys I will be picking up Pdowney in the morning at around 630am at sea isle. I hope to find him some fish. He is down from Arkansas and has never had a speck or Red in the boat. If any is getting a few fish and can share some info give me a ring. Or call me and Ill let ya know if we are on any fish. I just would like to put something on his pole while he is down. If some one has room on the boat or is wading Tuesday or wednesday let him know he will be at GISP.

Robalo that was where I was thinking (i had the shrimp)however didnt make it see post below. Thanks for the tip not everybody will give up good info. But I did have alot of people PM and a few phone calls with good reports. This is what west end anglers is all about.

OK heres the report. I get to Sea Isle 6am. Launch boat 605am. Fire her up get gear ready. Pdowney shows up 620am. Get schrimps at JTs bait camp. Head out 630am get to end of no wake zone 635. Throttle down and KABOOM!!!! The ugly mudda has bit the dust. Oh yea its not good. Troll back pdowney has 1 top bite strike no fish. What can you do. Just the way it goes sometime.
I load up and we wade into rooster collins there about an hour and a half with no bites. Load up and head over to pelican island to wade an old favorite. No beuno there closed to constuction site. head over to sportsmen road to make a wade and bingo!!! Sneakypete calls me and asks has the wind started blowing yet. Like he didnt know it was blowing like a sack of whores!!! Told him "I done blowed up man" He said where you at i'll come get yall. We went and met him at 2004 and headed out. He put pdowney on a 20 trout first drift near the pass and the old schrimp boat in off color water. Couple of nibbles and we moved on to the the back lakes and pdowney hooked a nice red but decided to give it the quick release. I managed a 10 flattie. We called it a day around 6pm. Tough day of fishing but was worth seeing pdowney catch that first trout and a decent fish at that.I am sure he will remember the trip for quite a while.
Thanks for all the help from everyone especially sneaky.BTW it was fun watching him fish with a left handed reel. Maybe we have a level playing field now. Probably not!! Thanks again everyone

I figure it this way he will go back to Arkansas and tell every one he had a great time or that he met the two craziest dudes from texas you can ever imagine!! Either way I geuss that aint too bad! Pdowney is a really good fisherman. I only saw him measure the line once and that aint bad with someone elses reel you have never thrown. Dbarham im hooked up to your boat right now!!! HEHEEH
