so I read the latest news on the Seawall Parking issues. What the Citizens of Galveston will vote on is... if its a special event, those parking on the seawall wont have to pay to park, so those that just come down for any other reason, outside of 'special event' just for R&R or whatever day will have to pay. This is exactly opposite of what I was thinking the paid parking was going to address. I thought "WTF" that is just so wrong. I thought even handed parking would prevail, shame on me. Geez.
