  • West Bay Water Condition??

Anybody out there today. I know the wind kicked up. I imagine the south shoreline will look alright tomorrow but what's the rest of the bay look like? Are tides normal?

    Thanks guys

I hope I catch a 10 lb trout before I catch a flesh eating bacteria.

It looked pretty sweet around noon. Tides were normal. I'd love to tell you that I'm on the water, but I'm back in the office. I'm hoping to wet a line in hte AM.

tides started out really low this am but the se wind blew some water back in. running back from the jetty the water north of the causeway was off color. jones was off color. water at jetty was good. i didn't go into west but it looked off color by meacoms/deer island. good luck.

Water is in good shape. Coves look good, reefs look good, North shoreline looks good, and Jones looked good. Tough bite in West today. All our fish came from Jones. Tough bite all over really. I think we ended up with 7 fish.

The wind really was honkin' this afternoon and the bay was rough as a cob. There were plenty of Redfish on the North shoreline too.
Water looked good pretty much everywhere. I fished a S. shore cove for an hour and no bites.
I talked to a neighbor and he had a limit of trout from near Jones.
