Ok, just got off the phone with my old coach. He's coming down from Bastrop for a weekend at the camp. I'm sure 007 will join in. We're going to need some help if we're going to pull this off though.
We've got 3 pilings we need to sink for the front porch and they are beasts. If you've ever wanted to come out to the place, this weekend we could really use about 3 more guys. One of them needs to be a skinny guy who ain't afraid of climbing up a ladder.
Once we get one of them in, the others should be easy. Post up if you can make it. I'll provide 4 cases of beer and we'll cook up some ribs too. I'd like to get the pilings in Saturday so we can start framing the porch Sunday. Hoping to start working around noon on Saturday.
My old coach is moderately well known on the Texas music scene. He's a singer/songwriter and he'll have his guitar. Anyone that wants to spend the night, you are welcome to do so, but remember the place is very spartan right now. All 3 beds are taken, so you'll need a sleeping bag. I wish I could offer better accomodations, and I will pretty soon.
