Man, I started to post so many times today, but I just couldn't. There's nothing like the love of a pet. There's nothing as tough as making the decision about when it's time to say goodbye. My heart is really broken seeing someone else go through it. People that don't have pets will never know what it's like, and their world is an empty place without the love of a pet. They become your family. You've done the right thing Bro. So many of us wait too long. When the pain of the pet becomes too much, it's the right thing to release them from that. It never helps the hurt to know that though. I've been there so many times. My thoughts have been with you all day, and my prayers will follow.

Sandy, Thank you so much for writing. When I read about the loss of your buddy, I knew what you were going through 'cause I knew I was gonna face it soon. You put it so well. 16 years ago I waited a couple days too long and I promised I'd never make the same mistake. I know we're aware of the choices we make when we love our animals and make them part of our lives. We know we aren't going to have them around as long as we'd like, but it still hurts when we have to let go.Thanks for hanging with us today. It means a lot.
