Beer and coke tab's

Has any of yall saved and turned in the tabs to Ronald McDonald House. I have some and would like to turn them in but wondered how it works,or should I donate them to some club to turn in to make money?

My wife does volunteer work at Ronald McDonald. We just drop them off whenever we've saved a bunch. Nothing to it.

I spoke to the lady at C&D Scrap metal she advised alum cans were $.60 cents per lb . the tabs are $.50 per lb i was always under the impression the tabs worth alot more but i guess not

The reason they do the pull tabs is so they don't have to deal with a bunch of dripping, stinky beer & coke cans. The tabs are much easier.

S o what should i do Gibbey ,I was saving them for a 4h club me and my son where in but no longer .I seen the vfw was saving them last year at the cookoff and my Lady's Aunt is a member there .I might give the tabs to them ?

give them to someone. VFW or Ronald McDonald House. I am sure both would be used for a good cause. They really don't bring in the money you think they do and it takes alot to get any weight.

Shoot it took 4 years to fill up a five gallon drinking water bottle,and I have called around also and understand it's not all it's cracked up to be .So I still wonder what to do?

RMD House uses it to keep the lights on. I'd go that route.

you could also sell them yourself and pocket the cash.

OK after talking to Mikljug"s girlfriend at the boil it seems i will be headed to the shrinners with my beer tab's,She says one gallon gets a family a two night stay in a hotel when they are in there ..Don't really understand but more detaills later.
