never mind. Since this is such a problem I will just close this thread and fish with Greg. Sorry I tried to help out other people by donating $150 for absolutely nothing.

The real question comes to my mind... Are you trying to get out of spending $300 for the trip you bid on now?

Everything does help and we will take every penny.. $100 isn't going to make or break this benefit.

I would also like to add that past patients Do get to participate in these types of things, and Do live a full life, my cousin who is a 95%'r has his own boat, etc.. and you will Not get any kids from the hospital to go fishing, because thay will not be allowed to.

If you want to raise a Grand for this cause, then by all means please do, but I would consider donating the trip to some of our US Veterans who would really enjoy the trip a lot more.
I am not trying to get out of the $300 at all. If this other idea does not raise $1000 then I will spend my $300 and fish with Greg. I was willing to spend $150 and not even fish. I don't care who goes. I almost posted on the other thread that maybe we should do the trip for you, Coe and someone else who is helping with this fundraiser. Fishing with Greg really isn't that important to me. The other two guys can still book a full day trip with Greg for the $600 so they aren't out anything either. Bottom line is that I am just trying to raise a little more money for the benefit.

    To all,
I want to begin by saying sorry for posting last night on the guided trip that Jeremy, Sacarriker and Jhua are winning. My intention was not to derail anything, it was just a thought and I guess next time I should bounce it off Coe or Tiny first.

Secondly, Tiny brings up a very good point about the patients not being able to fish. With that said, I would prefer we close this thread and I will still donate $ 100 at the cookoff and if anyone else want to do the same, show up and bring cash.

This will keep everyone focused on trying to win a great trip with Greg.

the ones who bid are deserving. Money...you want to make a hit for the shrine hospital then get out your wallet. If you win you do what you want with the trip. you want to give it away then its gonna cost you 1000 big ones and then we may bid again. Get out your wallets boys, money is what helps the hospital.

    Tiny,
I will let Jeremy defend himself, but the answer is no. All we are doing is trying to gather up enough donates to get $ 1,000 or more and if that happens, it will outbid the already winning $ 900 that Jeremy is part. Either way, Jeremy is in for at least $ 300 and if they win, they fish with Greg. If we beat that bid, then Jeremy donates $ 150 and someone more deserving get's to go. To me, it is a win/win either way.

You have to wait for JT to donate $100 so 3 Shriners kids can get a fishing trip with Greg?
