    Fished early yesterday morning. Fog was thick, water according to depth finder 64 degrees. Started with topwaters landed 2 trout barely legal. I had countless blow ups but no more takers. I had one nice fish on as it ripped line and stayed down I just new it was a nice trout.... Just as I'm thinking this line goes limp top water pops up about 10 feet from me... Yes lost it. I think total fish caught between me and buddy Lopez, 8 trout to 19-20. 1 flounder and 3 more to the boat , 1 red.... It was a long day most of the action during incoming tide. It should had been more fish but all day was short strikes, barely hooked heck I new the fish where there just couldn't get them to nail it. It wasn't fast action most of my action came on topwater. It was almost like they where playing with...

      Weather was great.... And where we fished completely safe from boat traffic so had no problem paddling out in thick fog

            Yeah I was in a yak... Did some wading... Mainly drifting 3 to 6 feet
