To all who cant find bait

Waded GISP past few days and there is absolutely NO shortage of bait. All day, school after school of mullet swam by. Unfortunately no luck with reds or trout but im chalking it down to too low of tides for when I can go.

Last night (around 945) I checked out the lights and the trout and reds were dialed into "search and destroy" mode, diving up... then down every couple seconds, Popping anything they could find.

Question: I first saw bait coming into GISP on Sunday due to the warming weather trend. How long does it take the trout and reds to move in after them?

Tip: Work parallel with the geo tubes at the end of dana cove, thats where the bait has been swimming and have also scared a couple decent trout.

Caution: the rays have moved in as well. Fortunately the water has been so clear that you can see em!

Fished the lights Tues night till 01:00 caught 4 trout just under 15". Didn't see any significant activity though ie. bait, trout popping, etc.

Also fished GISP earlier that afternoon from 2p till dark. Also saw plenty of bait. Nothing caught between myself and two other waders out their that I talked to. Water still pretty low even with the afternoon high tide.
