there should be a good shark bite starting up on the beachfront in the coming months as well. if you are looking for an affordable big game experience, then this it. Some of the biggest sharks are caught in the early season beachfront. Blacktips, spinner sharks, sandbar sharks, and bullsharks will all be feeding on the beachfront. If you can get access to a kayak then you can definitely pound some sharks. Just set baits out beyond the third sand bar (bait shops sell fresh mullet and sting rays which are great for sharks). Use a decent size circle hook that matches your bait. You can use a steel leader or a 300lb+ mono leader, but definitely use crimps.

message me if you want to know more

Thank You all for the replies and the good info. My wife told me we were going to eat alot of fish while we were down there and I don't think she plans on buying it, so I better catch some if I don't want to go hungry.
      Thanks again.

Yessir, don't forget your Sheepies (Sheepshead) by the rocks, any kind of concrete or rocks pr pilings. Big uglies (Black Drum) in the deeper channels such as on live crab. Fairly large shark between the second and third sandbar, as noted - but that takes bigger gear. Some flounder might start coming in the passes, not sure about your area. The redfish (Red Drum) on the bayside are always fun. If you're at a house with a canal dock out back, some of the best fishing will be at night right there!
