Boat Insurance

Hi yall! Just want to know your feedback about a good and reliable boat Insurance. I have Progressive. Did anyone have BOATUS Marine Insurance? Expensive, reasonable? Any good ones and good coverages? Appreciate your feedback.

My progressive insurance is coming up for renewal this month and I shopped around, even with my Allstate agent who has all my policies and they could not touch progressive when you compared apples to apples. I have not tried Boatus, but I could not see it beating progressive.

Just went through this and Progressive came back with best bid...

i went with a guy named Brice from Charter Lakes who is local ... I think he is a sponser on 2cool.... he was also at the boat show

I did boat us and they let me expire and did not give me any heads up .... I was like WTF? when I called and was told I was not covered ....

Once I got an apples to apples comparison, he was the same ..... I would rather give my money to some who is local and not a call center ...

Do you research on Progressive ..... There are a number of thing that are not covered ..... like if you suck up a bag and toast your water pump on the water ..... or even worse if you run over a rope, and lock up your prop and do internal damage to the power head.....

Ask scernio question, and ask where it is in the policy ......

for $15,000 coverage, $5000 personal property, $300,000 injury protection and so on

I Paid approx $400 for a year

Includes trailor tows, and on the water tows

Can you post up his number Muddskipper? State Farm is more than double of what you stated! My policy is up for renewal and I'm in the process of shopping around. Have you made a claim with this company or know anyone who has?
