We'll include you and Fat Albert in our family's prayers. We've lost many of our dog and cat companions over ther years and can feel your loss. It's great the Fat Albert had such a good life.At his baptism, Sam Houston was told his sins were washed away. He reportedly replied, “I pity the fish downstream.” - Nov. 19, 1854 - Independence, Texas

OH NO!!! Sandy, I feel your pain. But (why is there always a But) you gave him a life no other cat could have dreamed of, plus the love you know he shared with you. I so understand your feelings. Take comfort in the wonderful life you gave him, and him allowing you to share that time. There is nothing better than having a cat own you, and those that he let be his friend.

Fat Albert was the ultimate "ChillLaxin" cat...I liked the way he use to stick out his tounge like a big dog.

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.
