  • Halls Bayou

    Hi again,
I usually let in at Chocolate Bayou under the bridge at 2004, and heard about halls bayou and wanted to know if there was any good fishn' there!

    Thanks,

I catch a lot of fish in there in the summer. Mostly reds and flounder -- with the occasional black bass thrown in the mix. Sometimes you can catch a red one cast and a bass the next. Hadn't been in there in the winter but I would imagine the reds should be pretty plentiful. Put in at the camp and run until the bayou starts to open into salt flats -- you can troll through the flats and do pretty well. You can also try the spot where the bayou dumps into Halls lake -- If you catch the tide right ( I like outgoing for that spot) it usually produces pretty well. Good Luck!
    Shut up and FISH!!

X2 on what Ibtsoom said, but if you are going into Halls from Chocolate Bay, be CAREFUL at the Narrows (the enterance) of Halls, lots of shell and you have to know where you are going. I don't go there too much on a low tide, like today!
