    hi guys and gals,i go to Matagorda most of the time and have been trying my luck with lights at night,but im not doing something right,so maybe i can learn something from you yall.

    Welcome to FWE!Fish the outside edges of the light and throw topwater or soft plastic.Change up up your color's until you find what suit's you.The bait's that glow work well to...Good luck!

      Here in Jamaica Beach we use Creme "lit'l fishies" in natural or white/red tail with as little weight as possible. Small light offerings work best.

          Welcome.Like reeltime said,fish the outside of the lights.I like using glow plastics and tanndem rigged sparkle beetles.

              Welcome!!!!
              Try small spinner baits with a faster retrieve at the edge of the light. Me and my son did real well last night and that the only bait we used. Good luck.

                        thanks everyone for all your advice,after i sold my boat i thought i would give this night fishing a go cause i remember when i was a kid going and killing them,but that was 35 years ago and i dont remember as much as i thought i did...and im open for any suggestions on a better place to go also and any more advice you guys might have...thanks again
