Hi everyone,
Thought I should stop and introduce myself. I live with my husband, Robert in Cypress, TX. During university breaks, we are also blessed to have our college age daughter at home as well. We have a second home in Galveston proper. Own a Nautic Star 203SC which we use for fishing and fun. We also have kayaks but they are not outfitted for fishing - yet.
I spent my youth fishing and crabbing with my Dad and brothers here in the Galveston area. Lots of good memories of an ice chest full of fish that slept in the bay the night before. So grateful to be able to do it again now with my husband. Robert is more of a fresh water fisherman and where I have salt running through my burnt orange blood (hook 'em). Much has changed since the good old days, so hoping to re learn how to catch the Texas Trio of reds, specs and flounders. (no hardheads please - LOL)
We are also founding members of Cypress Buyers Association, a non profit formed to support local FFA students. One of our fundraisers is our Saltwater Rodeo to be held on June 3rd in Galveston Bay (east or west)
Look forward to getting to know you all better and hearing about your fishing!
