    Hello to all, I live north of DFW and just found this site. Been bay fishing from boats in Galveston area 2 to 3 times a year with guides for a few years now. Trying to learn more. My 15 year old son is my partner and he is ate up with it. He really wants to wade fish the west bay and flounder gig. We are boatless so gonna have to find walk in access points. Been reading old posts here but please respond to this or PM me if you have specific advice for us. If anyone would be willing to show us the ropes we will be down again this week 7-27-15 through Aug 1st.

    There's a newer thread with info that well help y'all out. It's "fishing west end help" pretty good advice for those new to the area
