Hey everyone, I'm Austin. Out of Katy near Houston. Finally able to come down to Galveston with a couple of buddies every once in a while, and my old man loves to come down when he's able to. Mostly surf fishing near San Luis and wading west bay, but always looking to learn more. My goal is to catch at least one trout before I go back to school in September. I hope with the help of these forums I'll be able to achieve that. Getting tired of the hardheads, drum, and rays

welcome Austin, SLP is a good place to catch that trout your after. Just be careful of the tidal movement it It's known to wash the sand out from under you and haul you away
