Howdy from Magnolia

Just getting back into Texas saltwater fishing. Grew up fishing Lavaca river , Lavaca and Caranchua bay with my pappy over 30 years ago when I was around 10 (read-popping corks two at a time multi cooler runs). This week on Monday I got set up and have been fishing west bay around SLP behind the point west condos. Glad to be back in the game and loving the saltwater fishing experience. Been scratching the last three days and have pulled out 7 specs so far. Today turned outs on be pretty good all out there by myself with three keepers and a bunc of 14" throwbacks.
looking forward to learning some new tricks and meeting some new folks out on the bay.
