If you're looking for a clean and used boat, I would recommend going to American Yacht Sales in Dickinson, TX. They have a huge selection of bay&fishing boats for sale. That's where I bought my 2007 SeaFox a few years ago. They were nice enough to service the engine and replace the bilge and aerator pump before we picked it up. In the end, I ended up paying $2,000 dollars less than what they were originally asking. I hope you consider buying a boat.Originally posted by Troutkiller View PostWe only ride in kayaks because we don't have boats. this is my point. My kayak cost 650$ on 2001. I have had no maintainance fees, no fuel charges and no storage fees in these 11 years. I can not travel as far and certainly not as fast as a boat, but it has afforded me the opportunity to fish some great spots well out of the reach of wade fishermen. I have spent some money on my truck however, which takes some abuse driving me through the sand and mud.

You did say "One day I hope that will change", so I thought you were implying that you wanted to look into buying a used boat.Originally posted by Troutkiller View Postthis is my point.
