New To Fishing West End

Hello All; I finally joined Fishing Westend Anglers, I haved Fished the galveston bay area pretty much my whole life, I fish with my two boys Every chance we get. we have fished Italy, Switzerland, Canada, Cabo, Mazatlan, Costa Rica, and pretty much the whole Gulf Coast. My boys and I try to fish almost every other weekend, with weather permitting. So we are very excited about joining this forum.

Thanks everyone, here is a good story you may enjoy, Two years ago my sons and I went to Mazatlan Mexico to fish the Dorado Derby with a 10k cash pot for Biggest Dorado, turns out we won. We not only won the 10k, plus anther 5k in a side pot, plus my oldest son's name was pulled in a drawing and won a nice offshore rod n reel. To add to fun, I took the whole family back last year and we won again, but only 3 k, reason being is that no one caught the minimum weight. So what they did was put 32 names in a bowl and pulled names, we were the second to last name. Altough we did catch the biggest Dorado again. On this same trip I had my whole family Boys, daughter and my wife and the day before the tournament we caught 24 dorado. We call ourselves "Team Reel Life"
