New to the site
I was pleasently surprized when I found this site, it looks like a first class site of inormation. My wife and I have recently purchased a house in Jamacia Beach and I really like to wade the surf when it is right and I intend on doing a lot more fishing in lower West Bay. I am a native Houstonian and have fished the Galveston area all my life, but mostly the surf, Galveston/Trinity bays, and the jetties.
I plan to retire to the area in a few years so we are getting a jump on what it's like down on the island. I am looking forward to sharing the knowledge of others on this site who love the outdoors. To those who were wondering about the user name it is the Mirror Lure model that over the last 50 or so years I have caught the most fish on.
