skiff - is the baycliff spillway the same as bayshor park on google maps (FM646 and Park Rd??) Never been there - willing to try a new place. If you head to choclate, let me know - i head to SLP now and again so its in the same direction (probably a little closer even).

That's the place but WOW, it sure has changed. I didn't know there was a boat ramp and a soft ball field there now. I haven't been there in 20 years. There used to be a bait store/beer joint with a large pavillion across the cove from there as well. I guess Ike got it
Fish the cove close to the pipe and out to the boat dock. That water is spill from the power plant and it is warm in the winter, well, used to be 20 years ago anyway. Bait should be easy to find on 646 between 146 and there if you need bait.
