Here are a few in Galvez Bay and Galvez East Bay and a Navigating thread in certain conditions

With the abnormal extreme low tides ( - ft or more) this pass week end , I discovered a major Hull Wrecker just west of the Houston Shipping Channel. It is in 9 ft at the time and looked to be a container that was dropped off a ship. As I was getting a cloder look, my hull on the stern side...

On my way back in with the front blowing 2 plus fts. i was lucky to see the following hazard between the wipers on my sunglasses.. It is an established wreck that has been there for some time. Visibility is on about 3 hr's in on a outgoing tide.. Wonder why this was not removed with the...

With a recent thread I was viewing and observing all the suggestions on how to navigate in the fog, I figured I would open up a thread specifically for it. I have fond memories of Navigating through a pea soup bowl . I have been in some thick soup out in Block Island Rhode Island and the...

Found one the other day that surprised me.I was getting ready to load at Louis Bait camp and thought I throw a few at the bridge before I went home. on the north side of the bridge directly across the loading ramp is a 4 inch metal pipe that appears to be drilled in as it is sticking straight up just below the water line. I hit it amazingly hard as i was only trolling. I really thought i had punctured the boat.
