So i have a guy that wants to trade me a like new condition Bantam for my antique lever action .22 Ithica model 49. So my question is wats those reels worth ? I know the older curado is a good reel.

I was told the gun was worth $150-$200 but thats wat the gun bible says lol so tall sayin dont do it?? Ill post pics in a bit

The gun is a better keep, you can get a reel that will preform just as good! A good fire arm is worth more. JMO.

Forget all the numbers on what you think is worth what. Do you ever use the Ithica? Will you use the reel more? Do you have other, better guns? It's probably a fair trade both ways. Just decide which youd rather have and which youd use more. Youve probably already made up your mind.

Hahaha dang man ive made my mind up on trading i just dont wanna trade a rifle that even on the low end 125 for a reel worth 50 u know

lever action 22's are extreamly hard to find. Real wood stocks are even harder, I personally wouldnt trade a gun for anything other than another gun , shoot ill give you two Curados for that gun any day (my brother works at academy so they are in the box)
