For years the “popping” blank had been a staple for wade fishermen on the Texas Coast. Over the past few years, the trend has been to go with rods with faster actions and faster tips. But some folks just don’t like the faster action rods. Man do we have something for you. The new CCR PRO WADER XP. The PRO WADER XP offers a light weight, high modulus blank with improved sensitivity and that old school feel.
Rat Daddy and I field tested these rods during the past three Xtreme Redfish Tournament and they handled great. These rods offered excellent castablilty in some windy conditions and tight quarters. Just like the CCR PRO WADER XL, The XP is great for tails with a1/16 oz. jig head all way to Spook Jr. and the original Corkys.
