My can't watch sport is basketball. Just can't do it, I'd rather watch amatuer pogo stick endurance racing.

lol. A.J. didn't help much come post season last year. Going to have to brush up on roster moves and acquisitions. Still relishing in my seahawks, but we'll see. As far as Houston, they'll lose 100 games again this year.

Nolan Ryan is going to come in and save the day!!! Or is that team? Son Reed is already in position for that...

I think they could use Ryan's help for sure!

Really , best farm club ?! That bods well for the future . I played as a kid . Wouldn't it be great to make a living playing baseball if you had the talent for a long career !? Not as much chance as injuries as football . The best job in professional sports is place kicker . You have one thing to do ... Kick . Safely Hang out on the bench and trot out occasionally to boot the ball . If you have a strong leg I'd be out there every practicing kicking for 8 hours until you could do it in your sleep . They have skinny arms and a little pot belly . No need for steroids and sweating in the gym .

Some sources think so while others say top 3. Once we pick Rodon in the draft then Astros absolutely vault to #1 in all polls. Also in other good news, Astros have started their 2nd farm club in the Dominican Republic...really pushing international signings...

Better sign them and get them on the field. If they are all that, they'll be playing for the Yankees, Dodgers, and Red Sox within three years.

NO DOUBT! If you have been to the Hall of Fame there is a fantastic exhibit on DR players and their impact on MLB...it made it to Houston some years back...awesome stuff...my wife was down there last year and baseball is the #1 way for these kids in EXTREME poverty to get out (she does missionary work in the DR). They sign these kids around age 16 now...put them on a 5 year contract...that's why if you watch Dominican games on TV they are so into it...these kids are playing ball with everything they have because if they stink and get cut their family makes no money! Needless to say you see some great baseball...hoping to go with my wife this summer and catch a series or two
