We are busy picking up has beens!! We got Zach duke yesterday I will be glad when the minor leaguers step in this is gonna be a tough year again!

Zach is simply depth in case they have to shut down young arms again. The signing that boggles my mind is Jack Cust...unless he is to be a mentor to the kids on the bench and all that makes zero since at all. Next year I can see it with the DH but for 2012? You have to admit though, watching that guy swing the bat is fun...K or HR and nothing in between! Also excited to see how Lyles looks in his second season...if Altuve develops ANY plate discipline...if Castro will develop into the player they thought he would be.

Castro is still hurt gonna start year on DL that's why they signed Snyder.

I know this is a broken record again,but you cannot and will not win without pitching.Position players do not win championships,pitchers do.It's always been that way.The Astros have no pitching and they are very young,it's going to be another brutal, cellar dwelling year.It all starts with pitching.Unless you have 'em,your going to get beat.Remember what the White Sox starters did to us back when we went to the series?.They stuck the bats straight up our arse and swept us.

Yeah jamin all we can hope for is bud Norris to continue Jordan lyles to Come around and Wandy will do his thing gonna be a tough few years I hope these young dudes continue to excel like oswalt did back in the day! Hopefully by then they will have a team around them

Maybe the astros can pull a page from the rockets play book.Both have teams that are rebuilding and need depth in several positions.

Ther will get it, but it is going to take a few years for them to develop. Or when they do, the Astros will trade them to beef up somone else's team.
