Well you have convinced me of one thing, I am now certain that you possess an extra chromosome.Originally posted by mgstei1 View PostThe pendulum will swing the other way sooner or later Mr B and you and your views better get the hell outa the way. Your fear and prejudice tells me a lot about your capitalistic character.
if you would like I'll send you some true facts about Reagan and his unemployment numbers. I was in his economy and it wasn't pretty. Unemployment went above 11% sometime in the early 80's. And he raised taxes on the middleclass and gave tax cuts to the rich. And raped the SS fund. Sound familiar ? And he would be considered a "moderate" in todays political scene.
But he did give amnesty to 3 million undocumented workers for his wealthy and rich friends. He never peeped a word about the AIDS epidemic. I firmly believe he sent weapons to Afghanistan to help form the Taliban and get us on 9/11.
He was one of the worse presidents in the last 100 years."Nobody's so poor that democrats can't get rich screwing 'em."

Yeah and airline travel hasn't been the same since. Deregulation has ruined the airlines, the phone company, energy and business.Originally posted by JT View PostWasn't that hilarious when Reagan told those guys to stick it up their ***? He taught them a lesson. And consider this....they have never tried to pull that again. Lesson learned.
Yep, Im still laughing."Nobody's so poor that somebody can't get rich screwing 'em."

Tell me again, in all your vast and extensive knowledge of being in business where you come up with this? Or is this just another comment you've parroted off of someone else you've heard say it.Originally posted by mgstei1 View PostDeregulation has ruined the airlines, the phone company, energy and business.

Never been in business just like you have never worked for the man. Or if you did you probably couldn't stand it.Originally posted by JT View PostTell me again, in all your vast and extensive knowledge of being in business where you come up with this? I can read and comprehend what I see or understand. What, you believe every business owner is a better person or one up on smarts than someone that has never owned a business ?
If you want to agree with some man, firing 16,000 people because he didn't like them or just because he could ,yeah he taught me a valuable lesson about the rich and powerful.
Reagan was the worst President we have had for the American people the last 100 years."Nobody's so poor that somebody can't get rich screwing 'em."

Reagan was worst! Are you farging kidding? Your leftist leaning, Obama suckazz CNN says:
(CNN) - President Barack Obama tops the list of the worst presidents since World War Two, according to a new national poll.
And the survey, released Wednesday by Quinnipiac University, also indicates that a plurality of voters nationwide say in hindsight that the country would be better off if Mitt Romney had won the 2012 presidential election.
Obama at 41% approval in new CNN Poll of Polls; Congress at 14%
Thirty-three percent (33%) of people questioned in the poll say that Obama is the worst president since the Second World War, with 28% saying George W. Bush was the worst. Thirteen percent picked Richard Nixon, with 8% naming Jimmy Carter.
"Over the span of 69 years of American history and 12 presidencies, President Barack Obama finds himself with President George W. Bush at the bottom of the popularity barrel," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
It's important to note that Obama and Bush, his predecessor in the White House, are more in the public conscious than previous presidents, and that both have governed during a time of bitter partisanship that's made compromise between the two major political parties extremely difficult. When Quinnipiac last asked the question, in 2006, Bush topped the list, with 34% saying he was the nation's worst president.
According to the poll, Ronald Reagan (at 35%) tops the list of the best president since WWII
Now go eat your oatmeal and cry."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Poll all you want, I say he was the worse. The GOP has to have a savior so he was picked over Bush by the talking point right wing media. 35% aint no majority. Neither is 33%. Our country is split on principles and views which biases the poll.
What's real funny is the 14% Congressional approval.
I already had my oatmeal and a side of grits. Close to my nap time too."Nobody's so poor that somebody can't get rich screwing 'em."

No, not at all do I believe that a business owner is smarter. I was making reference to someone stating something about energy companies et al that has no FAKING CLUE WHATSOEVER on what hes talking about. That's all.Originally posted by mgstei1 View PostWhat, you believe every business owner is a better person or one up on smarts than someone that has never owned a business ?

I totally agree with firing those people that were attempting to shut down a business. It worked didn't it? And they have tried since have they? JUST LOVED IT.
And the comment about Reagan doesn't even merit a response. Its not even in the parking lot of the ball park to being close.

Reagan was a dud and will always be. A person that is fired cannot always do anything about being fired.
But when a manager or a wealthy business owner goes belly because of greed or whatever reason they want to dream up,their employees are toast also.
You are exactly why unions are formed. Exactly!"Nobody's so poor that somebody can't get rich screwing 'em."

I thought Unions were formed so that criminals can use the retirement funds to promote illegal activities and slush funds. BTW, where is Jimmy Hoffa nowadays? In my Union days, what I remember most was all the fine, expensive cars at the Union hall owned by the big wigs in the Union-to me, a capitalist business owner was a much better, nicer person than any Union boss or Steward I ever met. Gave me more impetus to finish college and be a successful person in life that did not succumb to Unionism or repetitive work-place widget on wheel, put paint stripe on widget, toss in "DONE" basket and repeat for 8 hours per day for the next 30 years-I think I would have ended up on top of a building like Charles Whitman did in 1967."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary.
