Robablow, for your reasoning there is also a different view which has the same effect but the right have a hard time accepting but works as it has in other states already that have raised the minimum wage.
Putting money in circulation always stimulates the economy, that's why austerity will never work and Europe is a prime example.
That's why redistribution of wealth no matter how controversial will work and have more Americans spending and more businesses thriving.
Take that 1000 that that poor ol business owner back away from his employee and the same employee has a medical problem and cannot work and his costs to get healthy again skyrocket and he has to file backrupcy. No one gets paid with his bills, he is then again supported by taxpayers, less money in circulation, same scenario but at a different direction.

Quit feeling sorry for business people and the wealthy. We all made and helped them get where they are.
Money in circulation where everyone has little or a lot helps everyone. But only if the wealthy and rich keep their money here and invest and not send it to off shore accounts and decide for an inversion just to avoid paying taxes. and still get the "entitlement" of business tax breaks while the poor ol wage earner does not have the "entitlement" of tax breaks.

I feel so sorry for you if you cant use it and paying for it. The ACA does not pay for dental unless you are a child under the plans.
Sounds like your dentist or insurance or both needs scrapping.

You fail to answer my simple question and then change subject to 'minimum wage' which has nothing to do with ObamaCare at all, except it may affect the 'subsidies' of the low-paid worker-he would likely get less subsidy. So in my example above, Johnny would make minimum wage at say $15/hour, but Paul still cannot afford to pay Johnny's insurance so the scenario remains the same-Paul is screwed and loses his biz, Johnny flips burgers at McDonald's and has even less actual income since he now doesn't qualify for 100% subsidies for insurance because he makes 'too much money' under the subsidy guideline provided under ObamaCare so now Johnny has to 'ante' up the difference out of after tax monies to have insurance or suffer a "Tax Penalty", so effectively Johnny was better off at the original minimum wage since it changed his eligibility for subsidies under ObamaCare.

It must be nice to live In your world-you see only gummint paying for everything and never ask where gummint 'gets its money' to pay for everything and all you can do is promote socialism which has been proven in REAL LIFE to not work because the 'wagon pullers' will one day ask "Why am I busting my azz so Obama and other non-working but able-bodied scumbags ride in the wagon without working?" and the puller then sits down and stops pulling and no one eats, works, has jobs and all starve to death.

Sir, I think you did not attend school, likely because you had to work (be a wagon puller) so your family could survive while growing up which is commendable in it self, however, I suggest you try to at least learn about supply and demand and how a capitalistic enterprise works. No business is in effect that does not make a profit over the long haul-no person would invest in it nor would anyone benefit by losing money while working-businesses exist to make profit-not to create workforces-a workforce is the result of a successful business and that workforce and success is what creates more business due to more demand for more goods. The truly only sad part MG is your uninformed and lack of knowledge affects your voting which adversely affects the USA by your casting votes for socialistic programs which business and others pay for, including your children and grandchildren which will be burdened by these poorly thought out policies that are nothing but welfare programs that will tax generations to come-I only hope your children and grandchildren can bear the burden your votes thrust upon them and they survive in the future economy without too much discomfort due to taxation out the rear end caused by your uninformed and socialistic voting.
