A real Dogfight?????
From the Chron today:
Police are searching for a man who they say used a Chihuahua to ward off two fighters in an incident that happened around 3 a.m. Tuesday at an apartment complex in the 7400 block of Mockingbird Lane, off Fredericksburg Road.
The dog was killed in the fight, according to Animal Care Services.
In a phone interview, Officer Jonathan Esquivel said the man threw the Chihuahua in defense, and police are unsure how far the dog was thrown.
Esquivel said the man fled the scene, and could face assault and animal cruelty charges. He added that ACS was called to pick up the dog.
News 4 San Antonio states that neighbors were involved, but police are unsure what started the fight.
