I can't believe that the federal government pays bonuses. WTF? I have a solution too. That should be stopped immediately.
I thought this snippet was pretty interesting from the hearings.

"When Tennessee Republican Rep Scott DesJarlais asked Koskinen how much money it would take to replace the IRS's computer systems in order to prevent another major data loss, he answered that it would cost between $10 and $30 million.
In a tense moment, DesJarlais then reminded him that the IRS paid $89 million in bonuses last year, including $1 million to agency employees who owed back taxes.

Best you one here Kenny! The IRS has spent 10million on defending its position to the committee investigating it. Kinda like what the government SD cost the Tax Payers by the proud senator from Texas Cruz.

The GOP wanted the investigation has they did the Guvmint SD which cost us Billions.
They have the grips and complaints but fail to act to come up with solutions or help. Hatred and Do Nothing is their platform.

So you have no problem with paying bonuses to employees who owe back taxes, or paying government workers bonuses?

Not as long as corporate America is doing the same. Road projects in Texas also get bonuses for fast finish of a contract.
Professional sports players also. And movie stars.
So whats the big difference ?
Teachers, Firemen, Policemen (public union employees) deserve the same also.
NOPE, no problem if they can get it.
