First, I'm glad that the Bowe Bergdahl is coming home, but can't help but see the president's efforts as a cynical chance for some "good optics". Everything this administration does is political, and in the face of Obama's many recent failures of leadership, he and his team really wanted to change the subject in the news cycle. There are a lot of questions unanswered about the released prisoners, including what about our policy of not negotiating with terrorists? What happens next with these dangerous men freed?
I'd like to think that there are already drones loaded with their pictures, and when they step off the pane in Quatar, some missiles will blown their **** away....but I doubt it.

Like I predicted, the VA is out of the headlines now. Sure people may still die at the VA due to neglect or incompetence, but the president's poll numbers will improve.
As far as the terrorists released, I believe it is, and will be, a MAJOR policy blunder. It will cost many lives, American and others, but hey, the president's poll numbers will go up, right!

I believe him, Holder, Reid and Kerry were talking about this at dinner and Moochelle said "Can I have more dessert?" which at that point caused massive confusion, similar to Father's Day in Harlem, and 'dessert' got changed to 'deserter' and a light bulb went off and one of the morons said "Hey, let's trade 5 Taliban Terrorists for a deserter." and we know the rest of the story-except Holder and Obama said-"Let's lie and say he's deathly ill to get the ignorants (dummycrats) to believe our caca and shazam it should work." As we all (most) of us know, this was a bad, bad deal.

It troubles me to see the news agencies that are on Obama's payroll, reporting how bad this deal was. I can't but think the administration wants this to be the top story no matter how negative it makes them looks. Why?

We're missing that pro-Russian forces seized three military bases in Eastern Ukraine, that the EPA is making laws now, and destroying the coal industry so utopians can feel better about themselves, because they're "doing something", and finally that for all their tough talk, the republican's in Congress are doing absolutely nothing to rein in the president, who is consistently violating his oath of office, the Constitution and destroying the co-equal balance of power.
