One of my best friends, who is my best fishing buddy, shared this with me today.

My buddy served with Kyle White and is on a first name basis. That makes the second living Medal of Honor recipient (out of the current 7) that my friend is on first name basis with. The other is Salvatore Giunta. Just goes to show how rough his area of operation in Afghanistan was.

Take care of your friend and tell him thanks for the sacrifices he and all his friends faced in that war.
I watched White get his medal yesterday on the tube. Amazing he came back ,got a degree and working in a bank!!

Thanks God for the brave young men that sacrifice all for our freedom. My great-uncle was a MOH in WWI
